This is a painting from a parking lot on the edge of Algonquin Park in Ontario. I decided that water was more interesting than gravel so I added water and a heron flying through the scene. The photo was taken with my cell phone so the image is not that sharp. The trees in the foreground really were blue, though less so than I have made them.
